The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
