The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
