Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7
