Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
