Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe to those that pray 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7
