And among His Signs is this, that He created you (Adam) from dust, and then [Hawwa' (Eve) from Adam's rib, and then his offspring from the semen, and], - behold you are human beings scattered! 20 And among His wonders is this: He creates for you mates out of your own kind so that you might incline towards them, and He engenders love and tenderness between you: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think! 21 And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and the variety of your tongues and hues. Surely in that are signs for all living beings. 22 And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. 23 And of His signs is that He shows you the lightning for fear and hope. He sends down water from the sky and with it He revives the earth after its death. Surely, in this there are signs for a nation that understand. 24 And among His signs is that the heavens and the earth remain established by His command; then when He calls you – from the earth – you will thereupon emerge. 25 Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him. 26 And He it is who originateth the creation, then shall restore it, and it is easier for Him. His is the most exalted similitude in the heavens and in the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 27
