The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
