The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
