Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
