Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
