And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
