SAY: "Call upon those [beings] whom you imagine [to be endowed with divine powers] beside God: they have not an atom's weight of power either in the heavens or on earth, nor have they any share in [governing] either, nor does He [choose to] have any helper from among them." 22 No intercession avails with Him, except on the part of one to whom He grants permission. When their hearts are relieved of fear, they will enquire from those to whom permission is granted, "What has your Lord said?" They will answer, "The truth. He is the Most High, the Supreme One." 23 ۞ Say: Who giveth you provision from the sky and the earth? Say: Allah, Lo! we or you assuredly are rightly guided or in error manifest. 24 Say: "Neither shall you be called to account for whatever we may have become guilty of, nor shall we be called to account for whatever you are doing." 25 Say: Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing. 26 Say: "Just show me those you associate with Him as compeers." No, (you cannot), for He is God, the all-mighty and all-wise." 27 We have sent thee not, except to mankind entire, good tidings to bear, and warning; but most men do not know it. 28 Instead they say: "When is this promise going to be, if you speak the truth?" 29 Say: You have the appointment of a day from which you cannot hold back any while, nor can you bring it on. 30
