Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
