Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
