ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 And certainly We sent apostles before you: there are some of them that We have mentioned to you and there are others whom We have not mentioned to you, and it was not meet for an apostle that he should bring a sign except with Allah's permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgment was given with truth, and those who treated (it) as a lie were lost. 78
