(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 Thamud, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
