Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
