The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
