By no means! By the moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 Warn the men. 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
