Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and removed your burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
