Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
