The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth; high be He exalted above that they associate With Him! 3 He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
