۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
