۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
