Al-Kahf 9 of 12

When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 But when they had gone farther, he said to his servant: Bring to us our morning meal, certainly we have met with fatigue from this our journey. 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
