The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
