Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
