▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
