The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
