۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
