We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
