54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Ha. Mim. 1 This is a revelation from the Compassionate, the Merciful. 2 A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know. 3 good tidings to bear, and warning, but most of them have turned away, and do not give ear. 4 And they say, “Our hearts are covered against the affair you call us to, and there is deafness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us and you – therefore mind your own business, we are minding ours.” 5 Say thou: "I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah: so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah,- 6 Those who give not the Zakat and they are disbelievers in the Hereafter. 7 But those who believe and do the right, will have a continuing reward. 8
