Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
