HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
