Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
