O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak). 20 And be not like unto those who say: we hear, whereas they hearken not. 21 ۞ Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the deaf, the dumb, who have no sense. 22 If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith). 23 Believers, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which revives you. Know that Allah is between the person and his heart, and that toHim you shall all be gathered. 24 And fear the turmoil which will certainly not fall only upon a few selected unjust people among you; and know that Allah’s punishment is severe. 25 And remember when you were few and were reckoned weak in the land, and were afraid that men might kidnap you, but He provided a safe place for you, strengthened you with His Help, and provided you with good things so that you might be grateful. 26 Believers, do not betray Allah and the Messenger, nor knowingly betray your trust. 27 And know that your possessions and your children are a test, and that with Allah is immense reward. 28
