The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
