Did you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah? Where are they being diverted? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When shackles will be on their necks and also chains; they will be dragged. 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
