Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
