The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
