The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; 1 it is guidance and good news for the believers 2 who establish Prayer and give Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 3 As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro 4 Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers. 5 And most surely you are made to receive the Quran from the Wise, the Knowing Allah. 6 When Moses said to his household: 'Indeed, I can see a fire far away. I will go and bring you news of it or I will bring you a lighted flame so that you can warm yourselves' 7 But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. 8 Moses, I am God, the Majestic and All-wise. 9 Throw down your staff." When he saw it wriggling like a serpent he turned his back and fled without turning (to look). "O Moses," (said the voice), "be not fearful. Surely those sent as messengers do not fear in My presence, 10 save him who has done evil, then; after evil, has changed into good; All-forgiving am I, All-compassionate. 11 "And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people, they are a people who are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). 12 But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!" 13 They denied them unjustly out of pride, though their souls acknowledged them. See, how was the end of the corrupt workers! 14
