The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
