Has the story of Abraham's honoured guests come to you? 24 When they entered unto him, saying 'Peace!' he said 'Peace! You are a people unknown to me.' 25 Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf 26 He then presented it before them and said, “Do you not eat?” 27 He therefore inwardly sensed fear of them; they said, “Do not fear!”; and they gave him the glad tidings of a knowledgeable son. 28 His wife came out lamenting, striking her forehead, and said: "I, am old and barren woman?" 29 They said: "Thus said your Lord. He is indeed all-wise and all-knowing." 30 ۞ (Abraham) said: "And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?" 31 They replied, "We have been sent to a sinful people, 32 That we may send upon them stones of clay, 33 marked by your Lord upon those who go beyond the limits.” 34 Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, 35 And We found not therein more than one house of the Muslims. 36 We left a sign in this for those who fear the grievous punishment, 37 AND IN [the story of Pharaoh and] Moses, too, [We left the same message: for] when We sent him unto Pharaoh with [Our] manifest authority, 38 but he turned his back, with his court, saying, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 39 So We seized him and his armies, and threw them into the sea, for he was worthy of blame. 40 And in the 'Ad (people) (was another Sign): Behold, We sent against them the devastating Wind: 41 It left nothing whatever that it came up against, but reduced it to ruin and rottenness. 42 And in Samood: When it was said to them: Enjoy yourselves for a while. 43 Then they turned in disdain from the commandment of their Lord, and the thunderbolt took them and they themselves beholding 44 And neither stand up nor defend themselves. 45 The people of Noah who lived before them were also evil doing people. 46
