And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
