And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
