Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7
