The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Clatterer (the Day of Judgement)! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
