The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and shade extended, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in abundance. 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
