The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who dive and drag, 1 By the angels who release with gentle release. 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 Even if we should be decayed bones? 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 and then, lo, they will be fully awakened [to the truth]! 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 Then I will guide you to your Lord that you may come to fear Him.'" 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he denied it and refused [the faith]. 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 and gathered his people together 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
