The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
